As 2017 comes to a close,  we would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!  Thank you to all of our customers and friends for ordering from us and for your support this past year.  Thank you for your compliments on our new web site,  and for your compliments about our stoneware.  It has been an exciting year for us and we hope it has been for all of you.  Stay tuned as we expand our social media presence in 2018,  so that you will become more informed and can follow us,  read our stories,  learn about new products,  and learn a little bit about how we make pottery here at the W.A. Painter Pottery Works.  Happy New Year once again,  and we will see you in 2018!

  • Hoppy Beer Mugs!

Unveiling our Hoppy series beer mugs, just in time for Christmas! Each one has a different hoppy saying. Tuck one or all four in your freezer for a real frosty cold beer!  Be the envy in your man cave or bar!  Our mugs make great stocking stuffers but don't set one out for Santa with the cookies or it'll be gone! Our mugs are made of stoneware clay and they hold 16 oz of your favorite brew. Hoppy mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe.

  • Melvern Quilt Camp 2017

The ladies of the Trails West chapter including Linda Russell, Kay Salisbury, Dixie Hostettler, Cindy May, Deanna Juergens, and Sue Ingwerson got together again in Melvern, Kansas this past week for their annual "Melvern Quilt Camp." Dixie commissioned us to make these brown frog paperweights with custom impressed "Melvern Quilt Camp 2017" on the front. Two years ago she chose a blue and white version of the paperweight frog. Now the herd is growing! Thank you Dixie for having us make this fun piece for a great group of quilters!
